The need
A brief I set myself: a produce-driven bistro whose menu changes with the market. The visitor wants two things: to sense the cooking, and to book fast, usually from a phone.
What I did
A dark, editorial take: full-screen hero, alternating full-width photo/text bands. Tabbed menu (starters, mains, desserts, wines by the glass) with no reload, and a sticky reservation bar with date, covers and service. Elegant serif (Cormorant Garamond) with Inter, brass accent, one committed theme. Lightbox gallery, scroll reveals. Royalty-free photos (Pexels).
The outcome
Shows a different register from the other demos: strong atmosphere, photography up front, and a booking action always within thumb reach. Menu and slots would be edited from the back-office.
