The need
A brief I set myself: a food artisan who wants to show opening hours, the menu and their story, with no online shop. Make people hungry and give the address in three seconds.
What I did
One-page site: full-bleed photo hero, two-column daily menu, about section, image band, reviews, practical info. Live details: an open/closed badge computed from opening hours, today’s date on the menu, a scrolling ticker of the day’s bakes, scroll reveals, photo lightbox. Warm serif type (Fraunces), crust / plaster / herb palette, light and dark theme, mobile-first collapsible menu. Royalty-free photos (Pexels).
The outcome
Shows how I handle a short marketing site: one page, a clear hierarchy, a tone. The code is clean and moves straight into a back-office-editable site.
