The need
A brief I set myself: a craftsman selling expensive bespoke work who must reassure before the quote. Show the work, explain the process, frame the timeline.
What I did
Workshop photo hero, key figures that count up on scroll, a project grid where each piece reveals its spec sheet on hover (dimensions, species, finish, lead time), a species band with swatches, image band, four numbered process steps, quote block. High-contrast serif (Instrument Serif) with a grotesque (Archivo), robust upmarket register, square corners, amber accent. Royalty-free photos (Pexels).
The outcome
A deliberately different take from the bakery: same exercise, other personality. Used to talk process and trust with a tradesperson.
