The need
A brief I set myself: an architecture studio that sells a point of view first. The site has to be sober, legible, and let the projects speak.
What I did
A minimal, typographic take: no hero photo, a very large headline, a monospaced metadata line. Projects as an accordion index (year, place, programme, area, expanding onto a photo). Reading progress bar, header that retracts on scroll, numbered manifesto. Grotesque (Archivo) with mono (IBM Plex Mono), no accent colour, light and dark theme. Royalty-free photos (Pexels).
The outcome
The opposite extreme to the restaurant: restraint, white space, typographic hierarchy. Works without JavaScript (the index still expands); motion is only a bonus.
